I was reading something and I realized that people are acting like idiots over something as simple as pairings. Don't get me wrong I don't mind a action/romance story. But I don't like it if people just flame somebody over something like pairings. While I dislike yaoi, I hold nothing against homosexuals, fact of the matter is I know to homosexuals and am good friends with them. I just hate it when people take obviously straight characters and turn them gay. I'm getting off subject, I look for 3 things when I read a story, the plot, pairings, and the amount of action that is in the story. I am willing to overlook the pairings if the story is good. The plot however is non-negotiable. No matter how good the pairings are I won't read the story if the plot is crap. Action I am willing to go either way. Take Digimon for example, I have read great Daikari stories, as well as great Takari's.
Dakari king Mykan, and Heartless Nobody wrote great examples of both respectively. All i'm saying is people who argue over pairings have no business being on websites such as this, that is all I have to say for now.
